Dien Than | Virtual Space
Le Pantheon / Dien Than is a virtual space designed to promote an ancient Vietnamese religious ceremony called “Hau Dong" and to bring it closer to the Vietnamese young generation, since this ritual is claimed to be “a live museum" of Vietnamese cultural heritage. Le Pantheon / Dien Than celebrates indegenious aesthetics and represents the resistance to the ‘Western-Washed’ phenomenom.
Cake Bar is a New York based bakery taking inspiration from Wayne Thiebaud’s painting. The branding identity pays homage to his work which brought in adoration, enjoyment, positivity to the identity.
A dynamic presentation to win over clients from Stanhope, pitched by Knight Frank to act as sale agent for this project. The confident, iconic, vigorous vibe from this Grade II listed building was captured throughout the pitching presentation, delivered a sense of pride to future property owners.
I had this wonderful chance to take part in designing the visual identity for The Things that Matter in Life: the art exhibition by the elders of KLS Settlement. The work in the exhibition displays autobiographical pieces about the lives of older key members of the Battersea community. The identity is designed to be fluid and flexible for different marketing format but still maintain strong consistency. It translates fun, joy, fluidity, movement, and freedom.
Zumwhere is a brewhouse (food and craft beer restaurant) located at 11 Nguyen Thanh Y, Ho Chi Minh City. Drawing inspiration from Saigon vintage advertising layout from the 70s, we created an identity that married the classic and the contemporary, but not losing the sense of authenticity. Zumwhere is not a place solely for food and beer, the brewhouse holds strong value in the social engagement.
Indonesia’s most valuable startup, Gojek, unified its Vietnamese and Thai brands and bring them under one technology platform, as it looks to strengthen operations and brand image beyond its home market. I had the chance to work with inhouse-marketing team to create a wide varitety of digital and print assets that aligned with marketing campaigns, aiming to educate users about the new identity: with a big change for the brand color from red to green.
Boomkat is a specialist online music retailer and record label group. The website has a strong visual emphasis and we put a lot of effort into the presentation of the music we feature. My artworking team worked on several in-house record labels for which we design and manufacture physical formats, with a strong focus on vinyl.
